Each year more than 30 micro breweries compete for the honor of the "People’s Choice" (voted on by fans attending the festival). Past winners have included:

On May 14th fans voted for their favorite brewery... chips were distributed to the first 2,000 festival attendees. Buckets were located at each breweries booth. MCZA tabulated the votes and the winners were announced before the last act.
