The Eric Nyberg Award
From 1997 to 2008 . . . . .
Eric Nyberg was the mo jo of, and driving force behind the 'UnTapped Blues and Brews Festival'. His vision and leadership gave life to the Festival. Each May, Eric brought us outstanding blues performers, premium regional microbreweries, and a special venue.
In 2009, the Eric Nyberg Award was created to commemorate his contribution to the cultural landscape of the region. Each year a new recipient will be honored based on their role in helping to keep live music (especially the blues) a vital part of our community.
