  • Where is the festival going to be held this year and when?

The 15th Anniversary of the UnTapped Blues & Brews Festival will be on May 14th, 2011 at the Benton County Fairgrounds ( get directions). The event will begin at noon and end at 11 p.m. (all alcohol sales will end at 10 p.m.).
  • Is the music indoor or outdoor?

The music stage will be outside.  Beer/wine tasting and some of the food vendors will be located indoors.
  • Where do we park, and is there a fee?

The main parking lot at the Fairgrounds at 10th and Oak Street is open and parking is free. There are designated parking areas for motorcycles (bring your bike ... it's a fun ride).
  • What transportation is there to or from festival?

We do not have a special bus service scheduled. However, Benton-Franklin transit has a bus that stops at the Benton County Fair Grounds from 6:05 am to 6:35 pm.
    ( Route 49 )

    Tri-City Taxi is available (509) 547-7777 and

Guests of Clover Island Inn (the official hotel of the UnTapped Blues and Brews Festival, see "Lodging") have access to a free shuttle service to and from the event.

  • Is there any seating in the music area? Beer/Wine area?

There is limited seating available in the music area. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will be tables and chairs in the tasting pavilions and a limited number of picnic tables and bleachers in the food court.
  • What are we allowed to bring into the festival area?

As in the past, you are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and other personal items. Coolers, pets, tents, and minors are NOT permitted.
  • Can we "re-enter" if we have to leave the event?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis. If you have to leave the event and want to return later in the day, yes. If you are leaving to go to your car for some reason several times throughout the day that will not be allowed.
  • Are minors, even babies, allowed into the festival?

No minors, including babies, are allowed into the event. We have a 100% ID check policy . . . bring your proof of age.
  • Why did the ticket prices go up this year?

Ticket prices have been unchanged for the past four years.   Costs have increased but we are committed to affordable, fun entertainment for our fans and friends.  We will hold the line on ticket prices for as long as possible.  Our prices are well in-line with the other comparable Northwest music events.
  • What is included in the ticket price?

The ticket fee includes entry to the event (including 7 bands) and a commemorative tasting glass (to the first 3,000 entrants).  Food and non-alcohol drinks are sold by "cash".  All alcohol drinks are sold using "scrip tickets" that you purchase inside the event.
  • When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets are mailed via U.S. Postal Service as orders are received (received by phone, on-line, or by mail) beginning April 4th. Tickets purchased phone, on-line, or by mail after May 8th through May 12th at 9 pm will be available at the Festival “Will Call” Ticket booth at the Benton County Fairgrounds.  For other ticket purchase information go to “ Event Tickets
  • Will camping spaces be available if I do not make reservations in advance?

There are limited number of camping sites available. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If the campground does not sell out before May 12th, same day sales of camp sites will occur until no more sites are available. The best advice is to reserve early.
